How can I order, and how long does it take to process my order?

You have the option of either ordering directly from us or ordering from one of our retail partners. These partners are mostly medical supply stores or other specialist stores that carry medical aids.

When placing a direct order with us, we can provide you with a cost estimate free of charge. All you have to do is download the corresponding order form on the respective product page. If you still have questions when filling out the form, you can always contact us via our contact form. We will then contact you as soon as possible and assist you in filling out the form.

After you have placed your order, the delivery time is 2 weeks for basic models and 4 weeks for more complex chairs. Please allow for approximately 1 week’s additional time for the delivery of the chair.

If you order a wheelchair or triple chair from one of our partners, they will provide the consultation, estimate and all other services. If you wish to be reimbursed for the chair by your insurance company, contact your insurance company and the retailer for this purpose.

Have you already found a retailer from whom you would like to order one of our chairs, but who is not yet a partner of ours? Then simply send us the contact details of the retailer in question via our contact form (please include email address). We will then contact the retailer and organize the purchase of your chair via this chosen seller for you.

Will the chair fit through my doors?

On the second page of each product brochure, you will find the seat width of the chair. You can download the brochure on the respective product page.

Please note that for the LeTriple Wheels and LeRoulé Plus chairs, the total width of the chair depends on the seat width you can choose for yourself.

If your preferred chair is still too wide for your doors, please contact us. We will be happy to discuss all individual options with you to make your chair as narrow as possible.

Is the chair also suitable for outdoor use or for taking along in a car or cab?

Our triple chairs, LeTriple Basic, LeTriple and LeTriple Wheels are indoor chairs. They are not rainproof, and their functionality is no longer guaranteed on uneven ground. You can, of course, transport your triple chair in your car, but you will not be able to sit on the chair while driving.

The LeRoulé Plus, on the other hand, is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. If your LeRoulé Plus is equipped with a headrest and a car tie-down, you can remain seated while driving (given that the chair is adequately secured and in compliance with local legislation). Our LeRoulé Plus has been tested for this use.

How long do I have a warranty on my wheelchair or triple chair?

If you purchase the wheelchair or triple chair from us, then we provide a warranty of 3 years on your chair (except for the battery and pneumatic tires, on which the warranty is 6 months).

During this period, in case of any defects, we will repair your chair free of charge. After the three-year warranty period expires, we offer spare parts for your chair with corresponding assembly instructions for up to 7 years after the purchase date.

Can I request a cost reimbursement for my chair?

Your local retailer knows best about the options for reimbursement. Therefore, it is best to contact your local medical supply dealer.

Our LeTriple chair with an arthrodesis seat, for example, has a medical aid number (26.46.02.0014) and has already been reimbursed by insurance companies several times in the past.

I live outside the EU. Can I still order a chair from Sowecare?

In fact, we deliver our chairs worldwide. However, it is a prerequisite that the chair complies with the local regulations and legislation of your country. Our chairs meet all requirements of the European Medical Devices Regulation. In some countries (such as the USA and Canada) there are further national regulations, which unfortunately means that our chairs are not available there.

Are there any additional costs for the electronic up/down function?

All products on our website are equipped with an electronic height adjustment. The charger and battery are supplied with the chair. Charging the battery is necessary approximately twice a week (depending on the use of the up/down function, this may be less or more often). If the function is not used, we recommend charging the battery once every 3 months to maintain the battery’s optimal performance.

Can the chair be adjusted according to my personal wishes and needs?

All products on our website are custom-made. You can fill out our order form for a personalized cost estimate free of charge.

Please note that our budget model LeTriple Basic cannot be customized.

Is it possible to buy the chairs used?

Sowecare manufactures new, custom-made chairs, which are individually tailored to the customers’ needs and wishes. Therefore, we do not sell used chairs.

Where can I find the chair number of my chair?

The chair number (which starts with the letters LT or LR) can be found on the sticker that also has our CE seal on it. On our LeTriple Basic, LeTriple and LeTriple Wheels, these stickers are located on the back of the (horizontal) struts that connect the armrests under the chair.

On our LeRoulé Plus, this sticker is located on the frame at the back of the chair.

What is the difference between the LeTriple and the LeTriple Basic?

Since we aim to make our triple chairs accessible to as many people as possible, we developed a budget chair model called LeTriple Basic. Here, however, the options for customization are limited. If you prefer a chair tailored to your personal needs and wishes, we recommend our LeTriple chair that comes with multiple custom options for a perfect fit.
